Join Team Innocent - Practical Tips and Trial Skills Techniques You Can Use Right Now

Featured Speaker Deandra Grant - DUIDLA President Emeritus

Trial Skills Training & Workshop Get ready to hear favorite strategies from some of the country’s best trial lawyers—an unparalleled opportunity to quickly expand your skill set with easy to understand and effective practice tips.

Practical Tips and Demonstrations. This year’s morning session will consist of a short presentations, quick tips and demos that will help you get ready for and to excel in Motion Hearings and Trials. Whether you ae a beginner or a master of the craft you will learn things you can use.

Trial Skills Workshop. After lunch we will divide into break out groups to work on courtroom skills incorporating some of the things learned in the above presentations.

Some groups will focus on learning the basic skills and other, more experienced groups, will focus on honing those skills and will be exposed to new ideas for taking it to a higher level.

The groups will be small and based upon experience and training levels, which you will “self-select.” Groups will range from groups made up of relatively new lawyers and at least one group of highly experienced lawyers, with groups with experience levels in between.

Don’t Do Much DUI Defense? Featured speaker Deandra Grant will share how defense lawyers across the Edit-“country” have used her simple Team Innocent concept to get jurors to truly internalize the presumption of innocence in any criminal trial.

Does it work? In the last 12 months Ohio lawyers and instructors Joe Patituce, Brock A. Schoenlein Andy Bucher, Dan Sabol and Tim Huey have obtained Not Guilty verdicts using Team Innocent against charges ranging from Felonious Assault (on an officer), Rape, Unlawful Restraint (of a different officer) and DUI. It is so effective the Columbus City Attorney’s office moved (unsuccessfully) to forbid its use.
