Join the OACDL on September 6th from 12p-1p as we welcome Laura Valentino, Clinical Director of Ohio Lawyers Assistance Program. Laura will be presenting on Understanding Secondary Trauma in the Legal Profession - what it is, how it manifests, and support resources that are available.
Laura Valentino is an Independently Licensed Social Worker with a supervisory designation by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from Assumption University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and her Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University.
Laura has also served as the Assistant Clinical Director of a local group private practice and has been previously employed by the Rape Crisis Center of Central Massachusetts, Catholic Social Services and St. Vincent Family Center, providing her experience with a large range of populations.
​This program is approved by the Ohio Supreme Court for 1.0 Hour of Professional Conduct.
