DRC Presentation

Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction staff will discuss the current prison population profile as well as describe current trends and projections. A brief overview of early release options that are available through the ODRC will be presented including Transitional Control (TC),  Intensive Program Prison (IPP), and provisions under House Bill 86 (Risk Reduction sentencing and 80% Court Release). Additionally, updates will be provided regarding the Parole Board, the Certificate of Qualification for Employment (CQE), Interstate Compact, and ODRC’s continued collaboration with community corrections.
